🎯 Objective: get out of the conference room and experience KL together — its food, culture & streets — while living our CORE values and bonding across mixed teams. Shaped by your survey: most of you said you wanted to get out and explore.
📍 Base: Perdana KLCC (Jalan Binjai) — our hotel. You’re in the heart of the KLCC cluster: ILHAM Gallery is literally next door, KLCC Park & Suria are a ~10-min walk, and Ampang Park LRT (~5-min walk) takes you straight to Chinatown. The free GOKL Green Line bus also loops KLCC ↔ Bukit Bintang with a stop near the hotel.
How it works
You’re in a randomised team of 5–6 — mixed across functions & cities, with one KL insider per team 🧭.
Work through the challenge cards — for each CORE one, pick ONE location option. Complete as many as you can before time’s up.
Film/photograph each challenge → upload to your team folder by 6 PM. Only uploads we can verify will score.
Entry tickets, race transport (Grab / inDrive / LRT) & your lunch are covered by the company — keep your receipts.

Task: anytime during the race — (1) agree on a team name, (2) invent a 10-second war-cry — chant, cheer or mini-song, (3) film it in one take with everyone on camera. Loud, silly, proud! Evidence: one 10-sec clip, whole team in frame, team name said out loud.
🍜 Lunch Challenge — Eat Together, Eat Local

Eat lunch together as a full team (1 point). Make it a uniquely Malaysian dish for a 2nd point — nasi lemak, char kway teow, laksa, banana-leaf rice, satay. Evidence: a team photo at the table with your food (say whether it’s Malaysian or not), plus your team’s verdict or rating (rate it /10!). Lunch is on the company (~RM35 pp / keep the receipt).

Task & evidence — pick ONE option
Option A — Find & explain: find ONE artwork/exhibit that reminds your team of a Portcast CORE value, then ask a staff member or local for one interesting fact about it. Evidence: a video of your team explaining (1) your choice, (2) why & which CORE value, and (3) the fact. Film the local sharing the fact only with their consent, or have a teammate recount it.
Option B — Living museum: as a team, recreate your favourite artwork in that museum as a pose and name the Portcast CORE value it shows. Evidence: a photo or clip of your recreation beside the original. No points if there’s no resemblance, so only pick this if you’ll commit!

OR Speak like a local: own the language barrier — learn 3 Bahasa Melayu phrases from a real local (not Google!), then put them to work in a genuine interaction: greet, order, thank. Terima kasih!
OR Make someone’s day: own a stranger’s memory — spot tourists wrestling with a selfie, step up and run a proper photoshoot for them: direct the framing, call the pose, nail the shot.

OR Perform: a 15–30 sec skit, dance or synchronized routine on Saloma Link (skyline behind you), or recreate a famous movie scene at the Kwai Chai Hong murals — your pick, props encouraged.
OR Rally the crowd (at a crowded spot like Petaling Street, Kwai Chai Hong or Saloma Link): invent a 10-sec team war cry — you can reuse your Team War-Cry — then get at least 5 strangers to perform it with your team, all at once. The more people, the better! 📣

Who pays for entries, transport & lunch? The company — keep your receipts. The only ticketed spots are Forest Eco Park (RM40), Bird Park (RM50), Islamic Arts Museum (RM20) & Muzium Negara (RM5) — everything else on the card is FREE.
